Roomination

Explore the artistic vision of Vilhelm Hammershøi.

"Roomination" draws inspiration from the Danish painter Vilhelm Hammershøi, celebrated for his poetic portraits and interiors. Immerse yourself in atmospheric environments reminiscent of Hammershøi's art and explore tranquil scenes. Experience the interplay of light and shadow, contemplate solitude and introspection, and discover the beauty of everyday moments.

Game as culture

Our game has integrated the cultural value of freedom. We want to communicate that even when you are close to freedom, you can't always reach it. We aim to instill a sense of eeriness in the player by making the game feel off.

Game through culture

We aim to reflect the group as a whole rather than individual members. From our Expert Council, we learned to focus on a single artist (Hammershøj) and the game's lighting to enhance the overall experience. In response to feedback, we revised our concept. Instead of defining a clear good and bad path, the game increasingly intensifies with powerful visual and sound illusions, creating a greater sense of eeriness for the player.

Game for culture

Our game concept aims to show people, especially the youth, that art is not just a representation of reality, but a way to communicate and experience different emotions. We want players to feel the eeriness that certain artworks can evoke by using subtle or unexpected elements that create a sense of unease.
