GET IN

Welcome to Equitasia! Good luck getting in.

"GET IN" is a darkly absurd quiz game where you try to enter a dystopian alternate reality by completing an impossible citizenship test. Questions are surreal, answers are unfair, and the system is rigged against you. Inspired by brutalist aesthetics, retro tech, and real-world bureaucracy, the game explores human dignity, exclusion, and the illusion of choice in oppressive systems.

Game as culture

"GET IN" is a game that critiques contemporary systems of exclusion. It doesn’t just depict unfairness, it performs it. By making the player feel powerless, it immerses them in a lived experience of systemic oppression. The game becomes part of the broader cultural conversation around migration, bureaucracy, and human rights.

Game through culture

Built on references to retro-futurism, brutalist design, and authoritarian aesthetics, "GET IN" uses cultural codes to immerse players in a twisted version of reality. From Cold War-era visuals to absurd quiz formats, the game reflects how culture shapes perception, identity, and belonging, even in hostile systems.

Game for culture

"GET IN" was created to provoke empathy and awareness about the challenges faced by displaced people. Through satire and discomfort, it opens dialogue about fairness, freedom, and the right to belong. It invites players not just to play, but to reflect, and, hopefully, to carry that reflection beyond the screen.
