Playing God
Play god on the battlefield in this war simulation inspired by Danish history.
A simulated battleground augmented reality game where you decide which side wins by playing god by moving soldiers, giving them weapons, or eliminating them. Inspired by a XIX painting, the game transforms your surroundings into a Danish-Prussian battlefield, exploring themes of equality and divine intervention in war.
Game through culture
Players embody divine intervention in a recreation of the 1849 Danish-Prussian skirmish from Sonne's painting. By "playing god" with soldiers' fates, the game explores cultural narratives of divine favor in war while challenging notions of equality and justice in conflict, transforming historical art into interactive moral questioning about power and fairness.
