PsyKiosk

PsyKiosk is a point-and-click morality adventure that forces players to make difficult ethical choices – only to realize that no matter their actions, the end result is the same. The game provokes thought about fairness, ethics, and the illusion of choice, engaging players in a narrative where morality is not black and white.

PsyKiosk stands out by using psychological tension in decision-making. Instead of rewarding "good" or "bad" choices, the game highlights moral ambiguity. Through aesthetic and interactive elements, the game distorts the player’s expectations, making them question their own values.

The game was originally created by Team 404, four young people who took part in the third Cultural Game Jam in Aarhus and later matured in collaboration with the game studio Mothworks. Mothworks is an independent game studio based in Aarhus and driven by innovative narrative design, cutting-edge visuals, and a life-long fascination with the Human Condition. PsyKiosk was selected from over 100 youth-made games across Europe as a part of the Horizon Europe funded project EPIC-WE.
